Our little chefs had a visit from food for thought today. They made a delicious salad while learning how to chop food safely, discovering healthy foods, and talking about the goodness they give our bodies.

We looked at clues for our new book today! We think the clues belong to a farmer, a construction worker or a gardener. We think there is a child in the story who lives in an orphanage. We think there is an adult too who is old. The old person might look after the children.

It was far too slippy and cold to go outside today, so we brought the snow indoors to investigate ❄️ We explored it and came up with some great vocabulary like crunchy, cold, melting and freezing, a great hands-on way to investigate and build vocabulary!

We have had a wonderful start to our new term, and it has been lovely to welcome the children back to school this morning. Our Christian Value for this half term is courage. In our assemblies and in class, we will be talking about the different ways we can be courageous.
